Hot Ride to A Cool Salty Treat.

This afternoon was a little warm and there were four of us that showed up for the ride.  Two of us had a few stops to make so we head out to Water Street area for our first stop then off to Running Creek for our second stop.  We admired the homes and gardens along the way while taking advantage of the shade when we happen upon it.

We talked about the tiny homes in Wallaceburg, so I asked them if they saw the smallest house I have seen in town.  They had not so I took them to the little insulbrick home on Fraser.  They could not imagine living in a home so small where your bathroom sink is your kitchen sink as well.

We were starting to get hot as the sun was beating down on us. This was one of our warmest rides ever especially for the month of September. So two of them were ready to head home so we head towards The Mount Pleasant area.  When we arrived they invited us out back to dip our feet in to their pool.

Well needles to say that dipping our feet into the saltwater pool went to a full fledged swim.  It was a cool and refreshing as we splashed around and jumped in. We enjoyed each other company for about an hour then two of us had to leave. So we said our good byes and thank them for their hospitality and head back to our homes. I rode my companion to Fork and Wellington and I head home.

It was a short hot ride with a wonderful salty retreat.  It is fully true our group never knows where we will end up until we get there.

Until next time Ride often Ride safe and enjoy the view.
